Roma – Wolf
The city where it all began, founded by the children of a wolf and grew to a massive empire that lasted over one thousand years. It is said that the great city of Roma began when the brothers, Romulus and Remus, raised by the she-wolf, Lupe, set out to build a city of their own. After a divine bird-based disagreement on where to build this city, Romulus killed Remus, and thus, Roma was established and named after him! He went on to build a powerful kingdom that would later grow to be one of the most iconic and long-lasting empires throughout history.
Roma has always been a place of power and prosperity. It is here that the Romans grew their military strength, their cultural legacy, and first paid their respects to their gods. Without it, our modern world would not have the language, art, or culture that it does today. Its innovations changed the world, and we benefit from them today. Even its Republic (before it evolved into a powerful empire) would go on to inspire some of the powerhouses of the modern day.
Roma is not just a city. It’s an idea. An idea that the rest of the Western world owes its many achievements to.
