Demigods Gone Digital
Virtual Summer Experiences for All
Heroes at home does not have to mean heroes alone. And just because the mortal world slows down doesn’t mean the monsters do. In fact, we believe some of our mythological foes could be taking advantage of our isolation to sow chaos and seize power, knowing we Demigods are stronger when we work together.
We can’t let that happen: we need your help to come together to Train, Play, and Quest like legendary heroes, the only way we know. To that end, we have developed a variety of virtual experiences designed to keep our swords and minds sharp, all while having an Argo-load of fun.
A note about in-person camp: Our camp programs in Brooklyn, Manhattan, New Jersey, DC, and LA are still operating for parts of July and August this summer. Questions about in-person camp should be directed to info@plato-learning.com.
We hope that these virtual experiences will give Demigods around the country and the world an opportunity to connect, play, and adventure with us this summer no matter what happens. And we hope you’ll join us in forging this new frontier of adventure together!

Session Dates
Every week of Demigods Gone Digital will center around a mythological world, while still involving characters and stories from many mythologies (including Greek). The first 5 weeks will each contain totally original content:
The above content will then repeat in order for another 5 weeks:
The Program Tracks
How it Works:
Each Track meets 3 days per week, with flexible programming available Monday-Friday.
We have designed the Weekly Schedule to allow you to combine multiple Tracks in any given week.
Each Track will consist primarily of live interactive programming via Zoom video calls with our veteran Demigod Instructors.
The Quest
Like we said: monsters aren’t taking a breather, so neither can we.
What is it? Each week, Demigods in The Quest will receive online dispatches from their Quest Guide and various mythological characters with missions and assignments. During class we’ll discuss clues, make potions, craft magical charms, and go on live, dangerous missions to get to the heart of the mystery and stop the threat at hand. We know what you’re thinking, how dangerous could a Quest be while safe at home? Don’t be fooled: monsters are constantly adapting, and “safe” is exactly what they want you to think…
Who can join? Rising 2nd grade – Rising 9th grade
Mythomagic
Where every hero is only a dice-roll away from greatness.
What is it? A tabletop role-playing game (similar to Dungeons & Dragons) that we developed to allow players to adventure in the world of mythology. Create a custom character and embark on an epic journey led by our talented Mytho-Master instructors. Each week will be a full campaign with its own story arc, which will build on itself week to week (you do not have to do an earlier week to experience a later one). Cooperative gameplay and active imagination come together for epic, often hilarious, and always unforgettable experiences!
Who can join? Rising 2nd grade – Rising 9th grade (Campers will be placed in smaller groups by grade).
Forge & Combat:
The warrior-heroes that craft their own gear are an unstoppable force.
What is it? Become a master of the Forge with a different mythologically-themed set of build projects each week like armor and custom weapons. Then, use your own creations to learn the art of Combat and compete virtually with classmates live, taught and facilitated by our Demigod experts in forging and fighting. Emerge each week with the arsenal and skills to survive any monster encounter that comes your way! (And of course show off to all the jealous mortals at home with you…)
Who can join? Rising 2nd grade – Rising 9th grade (Campers will be placed in smaller groups by grade).
What materials will we need? The Forge projects involve a lot of materials, many of which need to be ordered from a hardware store (i.e. PVC pipe, foam insulation). You will receive a full list of needed materials after registration.
Advanced Strategy Games (Ages 11-14):
(Two weeks only: June 22-26 and July 20-24)
What is it? The game-design experts on our staff have cooked up some original and epic strategy-based games designed to be played together online.
Quest Making (Ages 11-14):
(Two weeks only: July 6-10 and July 13-17)
What is it? Learn directly from our in-house Quest writers and designers how to craft your very own Quest adventure! In addition to learning how to create your own Quest, we will be choosing at least one Demigod’s Quest to be fully produced and experienced by Demigods at a future camp program!!
Here’s what it costs:
